Where to find taekwondo test?

Most instructors set up their own tests. You should test when you and your instructor both feel you are ready. If not, or your plans won't allow you to be there on the test day, then wait until the next round of testing. Testing is but a small part of your martial art journey. The belts just help the instructor divide up a class so as to provide proper and adequate instruction. (And to hold your shirt down and your pants up...)

So just wait for the next cycle of testing. If your instructor really feels you should have tested, then it is possible you might get a private test, or a test with fewer people. I'd say, though, just train and don't think about the tests. They'll be there when you're ready.

I am living in France for the year and I signed up for Taekwondo for the first time. It has been about 5 months now that I have taken the course and this past week tests were held during our class time. I decided to not take the test because I could not imagine being ready and passing, and I was intimidated, but almost everyone earned new yellow belts. How do I go about finding/planning a test? i'm sure now that I'm ready but I don't know if I have to wait for months and months for my instructor to organize another...is it always organized for a large group of people?
