There are different kenjutsu lines, hard to search for since they have different names.
You try generic Japanese swordmanship searches. Or Shinkendo's branches by Obata.
You can also try the website MeetUp to see if anyone is holding unofficial workshops around your area. Although those mostly benefit veterans.
I live near Albany NY, and I wanted to start Kendo, but I couldn't find any places nearby to start. All the places I saw were for karate or self defense, but that's not what I was looking for. So are there any places in (or near) Albany NY where I can start Kendo ?
