What would Bruce Lee think of today's MMA?

If Bruce were alive, do you think he would be interested in studying, say, Gracie Jiu Jitsu? Or being a part of MMA at all?

in the Tao Of Jeet Kun Do, Lee said that he "Needed to look into" grappling, and had a few techniques illustrated.

So, he might have become interested in contemporary jujitsu.

However, as RockerTimes indicates, Lee was not interested in sporting forms. He was involved in creating practical combat techniques.

Bruce lee only said he wasn't in sports fighting but never had problems with other fighter in sports i.e Chuck Norris, others all became his friend and did movies with him.. Plus every old MMA fighter looked up to Bruce lee, even his daughter said in interviews of the old school no rules fight he would love it.. since that was Bruce main focus in most sports were to many rules.. remember UFC in the beginning was about no rules.. garcies wanted prove they could beat anyone.. so could eye poke or go for the balls..

Bruce Lee was not interested in competition fighting as it had rules which forbid certain techniques.

He would think that it's garbage.

I doubt it. He was trained in the art of defending your life. MMA is too restrictive for him. He would probably lose most MMA matches, but he could probably kill most MMA "stars" in a real fight to the death.
