What style of martial art?

Thanks, my plan is to study and respect the martial arts. I'm searching for all different art forms and creating a list, I like to learn the philosophies & history behind each style. I usually search a curriculum and find out what is taught, how the ranking systems work etc. Yes it's exactly like looking for a needle in a hay stack, I only saw it once and although many styles incorporate the leg defence this was almost like a style of it's own just for that. I've never seen anything like it before like when you watch the old kung fu movies and they only use legs to block and control the opponents legs using their legs/knees/feet. I think it was I found it when researching either kali, jkd, silat but it is a foreign art form that isn't from around my area so I don't plan on learning it only appreciating the art.

Practically every martial arts on the planet has elements of that. Your description of the martial arts is not very descriptive. Even if you do find what is the plan after that? It seems to be a very rare and very specific martial arts. What are the chances of it existing in your area?

It's called Fwak Kwon Foo.

Sorry to tell you but that can be found in many styles of martial arts. Looking for that style is like looking for a particular straw that you saw in a straw pile some time ago. Besides there are thousands of different martial arts. If you are wanting to study that style you are likely to find that even if you know what it is there is no school near you teaching that style.

...

It could have been the SPEAR system taught by Tony Blauer. Try entering his name on youtube.

That is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Good luck.

------ GO FOR KRAV MAGA ------ the single system in the whole world that is using absolutely ALL ways to defend and kill.

Hey, i'm in search for a particular martial art that I saw on youtube a few years ago and can't remember the name. It was a leg/kick trapping & blocking demonstration with a guy who looks like Paul Vunak. I've searched for everything and had no luck I tried researching kick counters, defence, distractions, leg manipulation..etc. The video quality looked like it was from the late 90's early 2000's, if anyone knows what dvd it's from or has the name of the style it'd be much appreciated. Thanks
