Try them on diff manufacturers have size variation. Go to a sporting goods store try them on buy in store or online once you know your size.
Sixteen ounce is for boxing or kick boxing and you can use probably better ask your instructor where you will train.
The circumference around my hand just below the knuckle is about 9". So I'm assuming I would go with a large. The size options however are medium/large or large/XL. No doubt I will be wearing hand wraps as well. I'm not sure which to get. Thanks for your help!
