firstly you could have 4 lifetimes and still not learn all of the above 4.
watch them all and decide on which one seems to have the best training and which one you seem to think you will enjoy more. Then go and train it. No you do not need any previous training to start MMA
Shaeeck, i only get 50 cents a question. Ill be losing money if i give you a dollar.
There is no best what matters is how you train not what you train. If you have an instructor that cant what good is the style regardless of what it is. If you have bad training what good is the style going to do you
Its the person not the style that matters
I do both wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, so if you are going for self defense, that's the best combination. But for sport, all of them are fun.
I'd do what's fun and under a good teacher with lots of full contact training.
Jiu-Jitsu if you're looking to defend yourself. It's probably the most useful.
Do them all.chances are you'll gravitate to one. There is no right answer here.
There's this Martial Arts academy and I don't know which type to learn out of:
Boxing
Muay Thai
Wrestling takedowns
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
MMA (thinking i'll have to learn above 4 before doing this, right?)
