my first choice is jiu jitsu and second is judo.

which is better and why. i want to do taekwondo but im not flexible and im short.

i just cant decide on either judo or jiu jitsu

I recommend either one they are both very good self defense martial arts as they teach you a range of styles such as locks, throws, ground work (most mma fighters are jiu jitsu trained) and weapons just go with the flow and try one that suites you ive done both, im green belt in jiiu jitsu

Flexibility help in most all martial arts. Most people aren't that flexible when they start. They become more flexible as they train.

As far as which one to try. It depend on your goals and what you like. Go visit some schools. take the trial class of each one. Then decide which school you will like best and which school has the best instructor for you.

As a general rule you should choose an instructor not a style.

Jiu-Jitsu and judo compliment one another. However, I think Jiu-Jitsu, definitely.

Take the style you want to take. Your height/flexibility isn't a prerequisite for any of them.

you dont need to be tall or flexible for taekwondo. id say judo would require more flexibility than taekwondo.

Tae kwon do is cool. I would recommend Judo though.

Taekwon do is the best and safe martial arts

even i am a good player of Taekowndo :)

women's self defense. (one word... groin) everyman's weakness
