What marital art would match my physique?

Any martial art will work for any size person, Martial arts just teaches us the tools that we need and then its about you being smart enough to take what tools suit you and how to modify things to suit you. You do not need raw power to grapple if you have good technique.

You need to just look for which place has the best instruction and begin training. You cannot determine if anyone is any good at something because of their height. I have seen many short basketballers who were amazing and many tall basketballers who wouldnt make a high school team. <--it is what you make of it.

first of all, you don't need raw power to grapple. If you hit them in the right joints or pressure points, they're gonna be in pain no matter what. it doesn't matter how much strength they have, you can still force a submission by controlling the right places.

Since you're pretty tall, I would say try taekwondo. theyre kicks are pretty devastating, which may work with your long legs.

The first rule of fighting is not to get hit.

Doesnt matter what martial arts you have, if your opponent is faster than you and kicking 5x as much as you, you're dead.

Also, don't get trapped, espeially from those who know judo

Edit: Nick, I would if I wanted 5 broken ribs and the opponent only a bruise. If you meet a fast opponent, for every blow you land, he'll probably have shattering kicks to your face.

jet l that is worst fight rule.. you always my take a hit be it a punch or a kick.. you have to learn to block the pain.. some times you have to get hit to find your opening then use what is needed...size doesn't matter find the martial art you like.. look what is around you and check them out.. most schools will let you sit in for free or at least watch..

Depends what you like some teachers dont want you to know or do certain things cause of previous thoughts or actions.

I'm 6'4", 150 lbs, and have a long reach. Despite being rather light for my height, I'm very toned and I'm quick―both in movements and reaction time. While not sure of how relevant it is when discussing martial arts, as far as I can tell, my knuckles seem to be harder than most people's; I can punch other people's punches at nearly full speed and still be fine. I can throw a pretty good punch, but I lack the raw power to grapple, so I'd prefer a martial art that focused on standing game. That said, if you somehow come to the conclusion that I would be good at a grappling art, I'd love to hear your opinion. If you wouldn't mind explaining why you think I'd be good whatever martial art you suggest, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for your time!
