What is this weapon called?

The weapon depicted in Kill Bill is fanciful... Never existed. There are a wide variety of "flexible weapons" used in a variety of cultures.

As the guys say... In Europe a morningstar.... A "flail" is similar but it normally has a handle.

The Asian equivalent is the "meteor hammer"... A weight on the end of a chain that can be both swung at the opponent or thrown in various manners.

Jackie Chan does a very clever set with such a weapon (improvised from a horseshoe) in that Western movie he did.

Its called a mace, flail, or simply ball and chain...its an ancient design that has been around for a thousand years.

Chain mace, flail, morningstar. There are so many variations of this. But the weapon in your picture is impractical as the chain is way too long.

Mace Flail, MorningStar , etc.

It's called a flail.

Chain mace, flail, morningstar.

It is called a Morningstar

It seems to be a meteor hammer with an extremely long chain, and she uses it more like a rope dart. I've never seen a variation with retractable blades.

Awesome movie, by the way.

It's basically a metal ball on a chain that is swung around. It's shown in the movie Kill Bill (see pic)

In the movie the ball has blades than can appear and retract, but I don't know if that's just hollywood.
