What is the most violent style of swordplay?

There really is no most violent style of swordplay because all swordplays are violent. All swordplays are aimed at killing another person with a blade first, and if that's technically pure violence. Of course we have changed swordplay enough so that it's not about killing anymore, but I don't think you can call it non-violent.

The word that you were looking for was probably aggressive style of swordplay. And to this I will have to say there is no aggressive style of swordplay, but only an aggressive swordsman. It depends on the person's choice of tactics rather than actual techniques taught. So any training would be okay for what you are looking for.

Lastly where to you get such training. I would check if there is HEMA(Historical European Martial Arts) club and the like near by you. They are the ones that study the pre-rapier sword styles.

Who are you going to fence in a contest with a hand and a half broadsword,,why dont you learn Kendo with a jap sword

People are violent. Swords arent

Hmnn..I would be happy to ask ZATO ICHI shintaro katsu but he passed away and resting in Waikiki beach waters...

Now. I d say. Try Shou KOSUGI. The original ninja of Japan...but dont ask his Bruce Lee wanna be son muscle heat cayn Kosugi...he's busy masturbating with Devon aoki...Steve aoiki plays the music...lool

You're dealing with weapons designed to puncture organs and sever limbs. Son, they're ALL the "most violent".

There isn't one. Swordsmanship is about killing your opponent, regardless of style and sword type.

Even the rapier, a sword people think about musketeers and gentlemen etc, is extremely violent. It's a direct style of combat designed to run through an opponent like a shish-kabob.

All swordsmanship is violent. Their techniques vary greatly, but they are all designed to take life or ruin it.

Cripes most violent style. Sword styles are about killing. any real sword use is as deadly as it can get. why would you think that one is more deadly than another?

Are you thinking about cartoons?

Besides swords are not violent, people are.

...

Why do you want to break your toy sword?

I'm hoping to learn how to wield a sword as I have practice swords. (Hand and a half practice broadswords). I was wondering what style of sword play would seem the most violent, agressive, ext. I like force when I spar. Any suggestions?
