What if Silva's leg didn't break?

Who do you think would have won the bout?

Well I think Silva is the better fighter technically but I have to say that Weidman really is no slouch either and the skills he displayed in this fight and the way he carried himself was a huge improvement this time. Last fight he seemed to struggle a little at times, as brief as it was in closing the gap and scoring on Silva but not this time. Instead it was Silva who struggled with closing the gap between them and scoring except for the leg kicks he landed and there was not much of anything else that he was effective with doing.

Given the way the first round went and if the the subsequent rounds went the same then Silva would have lost the fight. Something dramatic would have had to happen like Silva landing a solid shot and staggering Weidman and then following that up and putting him away probably or maybe catch him in a mistake. Otherwise Weidman is looking more like a seasoned pro with a wealth of experience, skill, and ability under his belt now beyond what his record is and will be a tough opponent for most anyone to beat for a while I think.

I think Silva would have won the fight if his leg had not snapped.

Based on the first round, I think Weidman would've won still but that's just my opinion.

Well that's an epic question. What if the Titanic hadn't sunk? What if the stock market never crashed?

His leg wouldn't be broken.

I guess we will never know huh?
