What fighting style compliments boxing?

There are many fighting styles that compliment kickboxing. The best in my opinion would be "dirty boxing" which is practiced in many prisons and underground fight organizations. A close second would be Western Kickboxing, aka Full Contact Karate which draws heavily from boxing. MMA has taken over in the martial arts world, so pure Western Kickboxing as a style is almost extinct, at least in the United States. That being said, boxing has heavily influenced MMA so you can't go wrong training in MMA. There was a time when boxers were the baddest fighters on the planet. With the MMA explosion, this is no longer the case.

Wing Chun is a very different discipline than boxing, and JKD is really the antecedent style of most MMA schools. Judo is also very different from boxing, but you do need to have some kind of grappling style to balance the striking you know in order to become a well-rounded fighter.

I am studying boxing and i am wondering what martial art helps perfect boxing and is a good grapling compliment to boxing. I have been told wing chun/JDK but also have been told Judo. Which martial art is best to work with boxing NOT MUAY THAI
