What do Taekwondo and Kung Fu teach?

Like what are their main focuses

What do they do

What techniques what does it mostly focus on??

Some instructors teach pure self-defense.

Some instructors teach competition/sport.

Some instructors teach recreationally (no competition, little self-defense).

Some instructors teach theory (how to, no practice).

Most instructors are somewhere in the middle of these, and focus on some aspects more than others.

The style themselves contain forms (hyung, poomsae, and tul in Taekwondo; and taolu in Kung Fu), and these are the only things that teach anything in the style, apart from the instructor. That is why forms are so important - if you understand what it is that is contained within them. If your instructor dismisses forms, or has limited knowledge of forms, then, you may be taught but you aren't learning.

That is over a 120 styles of all various instructors. Each instructor is different as each style is different. I teach and emphasize things my instructors don't.

All those styles contain striking and grappling but each instructor focus on different specs of them.

It depends upon the individual school or instructor. There are no national or international standards being enforced. This is why the quality of instruction can vary so greatly.

Self-defense, they teach kicks and punches. They both have forms you must learn. Both are striking arts. They are similar in a way, but their philosophy and history is different.

The disciplined skills and training methods of their respective lineages.

Not to be rude, but that's kind of like asking "What does a college Physics professor teach?"

The easiest way for me to put it is this...

They teach combative martial systems, designed around using the human body as both defensive and offensive weapons, for the purpose of self preservation and protection.

Learning the exact differences and what each entails is a much a dedicated study as learning a Martial Art system itself. There is much too much information to be conveyed in this venue.
