What do Kung Fu and Tae Kwond Do Focus on?

Like what do they mostly teach and just some details about it

I'm trying to decide which to take

Taekwondo is more kicks than anything else which I love about TKD. They do hand strikes, punches etc. too.

Kung Fu is more partner based.

Kung Fu? Which style? Wing Chun, Hung Gar, Shaolin, Taiji (yes, that too is Kung Fu and there alone are 4 main styles and a bunch of sub styles), Hsing-I, Jin'Gang, Bagua, Baji, all kinds of different animal styles and hundreds more. They are all very different in themselves and how they generate power.

kung fu is not actually a martial art in China its called wushu.. but there is to many wushu styles.. like hung gar or wing chun these are styles in wushu.. now if you have a specific style in wushu then you can compare the two but none are going to be better then another each style will have there own focus and strengths.. all martial arts focus on 3 things mind, body and spirit..

it really depends on the specific style. The first style of Taekwondo I trained in focused mainly on character building.

That should help to a degree. Sorry for cutting this short, but I got to go.

I think its like kicking and diet.
