Trigger step cross, cant get the weight transfer right....?

Try lifting your toes up on the foot with all the weight. This often helps with weight shifting

Other then that ask your coach

I can't see what your doing wrong from the internet

edit:>

your not landing on your toes your landing on the ball of your foot. your toes still have some control the weight shift, along with the hip movement

if you show your coach and he is any good he will be able to help

for me I find it hard to keep the weight back after Ive used the trigger step, I always find myself front foot leaded after I use the trigger step.

Even if I bring my rear foot up with me I still find my weight is either front loaded or central, never back.

I want it back because I want the hip rotation to send my weight from the rear leg to the front leg.

How do I keep my weight on the rear leg just after I use the trigger step forwards?

Thanks

(please note jack dempsey used the trigger step forwards, but didnt bother to keep his weight back for the cross, he just rotated his hips when all the weight was on his front foot, but I belive it would be more powerful if he kept his weight back during the trigger step. That way you get all the forward momentum and weight transfer of the trigger step and you still get weight transfer from the hip rotation in addition)
