Traditional Martial Artist's vs Mixed Martial Artists?

When you talk about an actor like Scott Adkins or JCVD, then the moves you mention are "choreographed" to "look good" to the audience. The kicks you see had to be practiced and rehearsed for hours, and the director had to yell "cut" for about a thousand takes until each actor or "stuntman" performed the kick correctly. JCVD, Scott Adkins, Michael Jai White and other "actors" were "decent" kickboxers back in the day, but they could never hold a candle to any major MMA fighter competing today. Flashy kicks and other glamorous moves look good on screen because of camera techniques, and scripts that put one actor's face right in the place of the other actor's foot. JCVD was talking trash in a bar back in 1998, and he got his butt kicked by a Hell's Angel brawler named Chuck Zito. So what does that tell you about how well an "actor" can really fight?

Uppercuts and hooks are already part of karate arsenal. And Old style boxing included kicking.

Its a useless debate and already beaten to death.

Oh God, can we just let this sh*t die. All this does is stir up trouble here for no reason..I'm willing to argue a specific question of substance, but the question of TMA vs MMA has been asked so many times, it's not even funny.

Would a Taditional Martial Artists, be able to hold their ground against a mixed martial artists, since I'm traditionalist in Karate, I was thinking cross train in boxing; i.e. boxing punches, karate kicks, and the gyaku zuki, in a boxing stance, and I would be complete in the MMA world forget the ground game for know, cause it looks unpleasant when you see 2 guys on top of each other and it will take 2-3 years minimum to be proficient, plus traditionalist would KO someone before the fight even hit the ground, i've mentioned something similar before, but how would a top time traditionalist Karateka fare against a top time MMA in an MMA ruleset match, cause if being a Traditional Martial Artist is not enough to be one of the best on the combat world than cross training another art alongside the current martial art should surely be the answer, but to me MMA just looks like Kickboxing, and jujutsu mixed up, plus the techniques don't look very clean compared to the person in the specialised sport e.g. the MMA guys can't box like Amir Khan, nor can they kick like Scott Adkins, Van Damme, so If I was to say a Karateka like Elisa Au Fonseca would beat an MMA fighter like Ronda Rousey, Gina Carano... would you agree or not, i've already gathered that the better fighter wins, based on the ruleset of their advantage, but in an MMA match would Elisa win, or would it go to someone like Gina or Ronda or Cyborg...
