Stretching for martial arts?

Leg stretchers are a waste of money. I never used one. Here are some stretches I do that really open up the hips for splits. Make sure you warm up first and I hold each stretch for one to two minutes sometimes longer.



Defer is the thing you answer now your knowing more of what is in others heads about stra or stars of stretching dont forget to breath cause or porpus men.

I'm pretty decent at karate and would like to do the splits at some point in my training and I'm nearing brown so I don't want it to stop me from kicking high in sparring, my flexibility is OK at the moment not great I can just about touch my toes got about a foot (13 inches roughly) in a standard split before I can't touch the floor (started karate when I was 18 so I'm all stiff) does anyone know any good stretches to do or for how log like everyday ? I plan to do stretching everyday so could anyone advise me on which ones to do from experience or any links? Ps I got a leg stretcher too I'll incorporate that so no need to mention buying one any help appreciated oss
