1) better how? Any answer you get either is only opinion or will make no difference in the end because a knife is only as good as the person using it. since your ability of use it is the same either way it does not matter.
2) a knife is a tool and can do nothing on its own.

looking to buy my first spyderco, and i've narrowed my choices down to these 2. the manix 2 version i'm talking about is the blue transucent handles with a full flat grind, and the sage 1 has carbon fiber handles also with a full flat grind.
the manix 2 is about $40 cheaper, but i'm not concerned about the extra money if it's a better knife.
