Sparring question?

If your just tag/point sparring then you don't necessarily need to use hand wraps to protect your hands if your already wearing gloves. But if you want to go the extra mile then go ahead. If you were doing more intense sparring then it might be more wise to use the hands wraps to make it more likely you'll land with a straight wrist.

Hand wraps by themselves are pretty good it gives you a bit of a natural barehanded feel while covering your knuckles avoiding any injuries to your partner or yourself as long as they, are decent thickness its all i use when sparring hitting bags etc go gloves as well if your unsure of your self precaution is always good

If you aren't hitting hard then there is no need for hand wraps. Also if you ever end up getting hand wraps get 180" not the 108".

So, when and if you ever have real confrontation in the street are you going to tell the guy(s) you can't fight them until you wrap your hands? Maybe you'll tell them you can't fight until you put on your karate or kung fu "uniform"...LOL!

Might want to add at least a little realism to your training....

Me and my friend are going to do light sparring soon. I was wondering if I still need to wrap my hands with the hand wraps they sell in modells or any mma store. It's just light sparring like very light. Slow combinations and barely hitting each other in the face. Can I just wear gloves and that's it? I have head gear for both of us
