Question about flat feet?

Jwbulldogs is right. It is better to contact your doctor if you are worried about such things.

I too have flat feet and have never had a problem with such things. I kick a-lot, run an aprox of 10 to 20 miles or more a week, we spar after every lesson, and I've never had a problem and I've been training for over 14 yrs.

If your knees hurt, it might be from improper stretching.

I have flat feet. I have trained for over 30 years. I began training at 13. If you have questions if it is or isn't safe for you to train you need to address those questions to some that are more qualified to answer. Start with your doctors.

Flat feet can find.

I am a flat footed 17 year old, and have been taking part of tae kwon do classes for about 8 years now, and also jog almost every morning. (usually with arch supported shoes)

We do much kicking, running, sparring etc. on a rubber mat barefooted. I've never thought much about it but, am I damaging my knees from these hard classes?

Thanks
