Outdoor padding/flooring for martial arts training?

what padding/flooring can i use or put down outdoors to practice martial arts on ?

preferably something waterproof that i can put down long term, but any ideas are appreciated.

Are you going to do throws and falls or just trying to soften up a concrete floor? I think that would make a difference in what mats to choose.

The problem with mats outdoors though is that you will eventually get mold and mildew under the mat when it is exposed to rain. The wetness under the mat does not dry and no airflow is a perfect breeding ground.

The best for outdoor training is to build a raised floor and then put the mats on top of that so air can circulate underneath and in case of wetness it will still dry out.

Any training mats outdoors are short lived as rain, snow and sun (UV) quickly deteriorates the material if left outside.

These are outdoor mats but nothing I would practice throws on:

and even with outdoor mats I would pull them up periodically on a hot summer day and turn them over an let everything dry out.
