What you do is go to imdb.com and look at the fight choreographers for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). Then you research the martial arts they studied and you can figure out what the actors in the turtle costumes were practicing.
The ninja turtles in the new movie are way too big and tall. In the original series they were all shorter than April O'Neil, which makes sense when you consider that they all started out being about the size of a baseball before they had mutagen spilled on them. Ninja turtles are not supposed to be huge, beefy, jacked-up creatures. They are supposed to be small, quick, and nimble like ninjas.
Movie Fu
As pugpaws2 said movies and TV aren't real. What looks cool on the screen often isn't very effective in the real world. And things that are effective many times aren't very flashy.
Look at a style like Uechi Ryu which is fairly simple but very respected as those who study it learn to do a few things very very well and don't worry about the flash and showing off.
I didn't see it but I know the ninja turtles are suppose to be doing Ninjutsu.

Really...? It's a movie. Movie makers could care less about martial arts styles. They know nothing about martial arts and hire choreographers to design fight scenes. As long as it looks good for the camera they use it.

You're complaining that people don't understand your question when you are asking it wrong. It seems to me that you are more interested in looking cool, doing flips and that. Just take gymnastics or parkour.
