Muay Thai or Judo?

"Which is better?" If you ask this problem...it's a sign of big ignorance.

They are both better than the other depending on what you want. If you want to improve in grappling aspect of clinching and maybe groundwork....judo is going to be better focused on that than Muay Thai or at least the standard versions.

If you want to improve on general melee striking and a little bit of in-fighting and striking aspects of clinch, Muay Thai will be more focused than judo at that with great striking techniques/

In a real life situation anything can happen. Only a fool would try to predict something along the lines of....oh all fights end on the ground...so let's learn judo....or oh...I'm only going to receive a few punches so let's learn Muay Thai. That's called sport with rules. Without rules...anything can happen. The better outcome that you desire is not the outcome that actually happens.

It's a very hard decision, but I made the same one already and went with Muay Thai. I still occasionally go back to my old Judo school for a month here and a month there to practice, though, because I really love Judo.

You're more likely to use Muay Thai in a real fight so I vote Muay Thai, although, Judo has its advantages such as taking a person down without actually hitting them (legal bonus).

BJJ is good for ground fighting, muay thai/boxing are good for stand up and judo seems like a less advanced version of BJJ however as long as you do one stand up and one ground fighting you will be sweet.

Muay thai seems legit.

Muay thai. learning muay thai, you will can learning muay boran and bokator!

MUY THAI

My BJJ school has Judo, Muay Thai, Boxing, and, of course, BJJ. The problem is, the Muay Thai classes happen at the same time (twice a week). I have done both classes and enjoy them both, so don't say whichever one I like better. What is better? I know I could do both each week, but that would be just one class. If it matters, I am a 14 year old male.
