Jaden Smith is not African American, he's black and is at least 3rd-generation american, his bio does not publicly go beyond his grandparents.
Also, he does not do karate stuff with Jackie Chan. If anything, he would be doing Kung Fu, but he doesn't do that, either - only acting and rapping.
Ralph Macchio isn't a kid, and was never a kid when he did the original series, he didn't act with Jackie Chan, nor was he black or African American. But, he was more or less doing Karate in the movie.
Hillary Swank was not a "he", didn't not practice Kung Fu or Karate, is not African American or black, and didn't do anything with Jackie Chan. (And she wasn't a kid when she played her role, either).
