Martial arts help?

Since MMA has sort of become a style unto itself it has lost the best thing about the practice of Mixing Martial Arts and that's getting experience fighting, sparring or competing with people who do things differently, who've been taught differently, who are better at very different elements of the fight, whose styles have very different characteristics.

The difference between a good fighter and a bad fighter isn't the techniques they know, it's their ability to use the techniques they know.

Back in the early days MMA was using your techniques against all different kinds of fighters.

Well I have seen Karateka, Judoka, Boxers, Kickboxers, and TKD people made names for themselves in professional MMA but have never seen someone trained just in MMA win a professional Judo contest, a Karate tournament (which by the way I dislike) or a TKD contest. When someone is able to leave their game to another and win then the argument that MMA is the best will have a leg to stand on but until that day comes it is an opinion of the uneducated masses.

4 years taekwondo

2 years mauy thai

2 years jiu jitsu

I.forgot to.add my experience in

There is an old saying...

"Opinions are like A holes: everyone has one and everyone thinks everybody else's stinks."

Different strokes, my friend.

People fight, not martial arts.

there own pride and ego, its not just mma, you can find this in any style

Why do alote of people think mma is the best

Come on ou of every other martial art in the world

Mma is the best i just don't. agree

I mean i got into a conversation with the black group im in and it came down to it that

The mma would suck if it was not for the ground and pound and the horriable submission moves they try to do idk can somebody give me a couple answers

What makes mma the best really take the ground ad pound away

Who wins last time i.cheak mma has horriable fighting moves its just the basics of mauy thai and basic boxing punches..
