first and most important see a doctor, or physical theorist, to find out the extent of the injury
stop kicking so high for the next few weeks possible months
and start out doing so light stretches until it heals
Yes, as mentioned before, this this why stretching is important. Back pains can come on randomly too. When I was in high school wrestling, I stretched a ligament in my back. I could feel it, but I could still do everything throughout my day.
It doesn't have to be in a training class either. One time I was picking up my daughter off a chair, and it was a tall chair so I didn't even have to bend over, but as soon as I lifted her, my back just inexplicably felt like it went out of commission. Despite this, I still went about my day instead of doing nothing, I just made sure I wasn't moving furniture or heavy lifting those couple of days. Now my back is back to normal.
Back pains can happen to anybody, anytime. You can lessen the chance by stretching and have strong core muscles with exercises like, bridge position, pushup position, push ups, etc.
I'd go to a physio if it seriously effects motion and I'd engage one if it still hurts after 3 days or get progressively worse.
I would suggest asking a doctor not us, random internet people
It desegmented karate chops.
Hi, so I do taekwondo and badminton and a lot pf running, and today, in taekwondo, I did a kick (they're usually pretty high, not trying to brag.here) and all of a sudden my lower back was in total pain. I continued class but I could barely kick, and I'm wondering, how do I prevent this? What is this? And how can I treat it?
Thanks very much!!
