Longest randori session?

In Aikido, in organized training camps, classes will be conducted for eight or more hours at a time (often in a hot and humid gymnasium with poor ventilation...LOL!)

Obviously, as needed, students take breaks when nature calls or to catch their breaths. Sometime there is a lunch break and sometimes not.

The sessions go on daily for five days.

The object is to train past a point of pure, physical fatigue so that one can not rely on their strength to try and force a technique or muscle through such. There is also the aspect that one can not resist uke's attack and must then necessarily blend with the same and us the energy given to give rise to the technique.

This one has also taken part in professional tournaments wherein one fights match after match in an elimination style. Matches are never more than an average of 30 minutes for a long match and, sometimes less than a minute so that the amount of rest between pairings varies accordingly.

Yup. The Dreaded 24 we do in the AKBAN. It's great and sucks at the same time.

And yes, it does get hot and fatigue sets in fast and sometimes it's hilarious to watch bc we are so tired our fighting skills sometimes get beyond pathetic towards the end.

But it's something we train really hard to do.

We spar after every lesson as well as:

Respect to these people:

I saw this video of some guys who yearly take part in 24 hour long randori. I can only say I was amazed, every hour they stop for only five minutes to eat and stretch and then they go straight back to sparring, not just light randori either! No sleep and also they do it outside so once the sun comes up...

They get pretty HOT.

So has anyone ever done this? What's the longest you've ever gone sparring? Is it even physically possible to go longer than this? I feel very unhealthy in comparison to what these people do,I feel well and truly humbled.

Many thanks in advance.
