Judo vs brazilian ju jistu?

I want to know which is better for a 15 year old who is 5 ft 5inches tall and weigh 182 lbs

A diet.

Knowone here knows judo well. I just competed in a ground work comp. Today on difference is a 30 second pin is a win and the match has a 5 min time limit outside veteran. Had leglocks aswell. Judo is what you make it same for bjj you only can be great at one standing or ground. I.could say judo teaches closer to self defence roots of jui jitsu better than sport bjj because of the pin rule but Im not that dumb. Both are great teacher is more important.

I vote judo.

Judo has some great throws, and sweeps. They do have ground work also, but do lack many submissions that BJJ offers.

Your age, height, and weight are irrelavent to this question.

Do you want to spend more time throwing people, or more time choking them? If it's the former, go for Judo. If it's the latter, go for BJJ. Neither is inherently "better" for your age and physical attributes.

judo concentrates more on throwing people and tripping them so they go down.. bjj is more on getting your opponiant down other ways and then working on submissions and joint locks to submit. so judo is more throwing people bjj is more just submitting people.. I think BOTH would be great to take honestly.. but if I hadda pick one go with bjj

depend on personal
