I actually have to disagree with you based on what I have seen so far of Cormier's ability to close the distance as well as fight while in the pocket of his opponents. His shorter stature means that he has always had to break down the distance and overcome the height and reach advantages of his opponents in the past first in wrestling and now in fighting as well. The other thing is that in his last few 3-4 fights he has demonstrated an ability to get into the pocket and stay there and fight effectively against taller opponents. That is a skill that many fighters have trouble with learning and doing but Cormier has demonstrated that he has learned and developed this skill and knows how to use it.

I look for this to be a factor in the fight and him knocking Jones out or a him winning by referee's stoppage. I guess we will have to wait and see how it plays out and if I am right and I am looking forward to watching this fight no matter who wins really.

How do you guys think the fight will play out. Personally I want Daniel to win but will he be able to close the distance and take jones down and will Jones be able to avoid the Olympic wrestling of Cormier?
