Its a martial arts question?

Why isn't isshin-ryu in ufc or a fighting championship also

what is isshin-ryu about?

Isshin-Ryu is an Okinawan form of karate. It's differentiated from other karate systems by its use of a vertical fist for punching, as well as the use of the meaty part of the arm, as opposed to the bones, for "blocks".

It's not particularly widely practiced, and doesn't emphasize the full-contact training commonly found in the "tributary" systems of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), the sport the UFC promotes. That being said, other karate systems, such as Shito-Ryu (Seth Petruzelli), Kyokushin (Georges St-Pierre), Goju-Ryu (Gunnar Nelson), Shidokan (Shonie Carter), Shotokan (Lyoto Machida), and Shuri-Ryu (Pat Miletich) have found their way into the UFC. There's no reason to believe that Isshin-Ryu won't, eventually, though like all the practitioners listed above, an Isshin-Ryu exponent will likely have to cross-train in something like Brazilian Jiujitsu, boxing, wrestling, and so on in order to be effective in that environment.

I am a big fan and your not.
