Is this a real martial arts move?

Sounded like from Anime call Kenchi?

From this part, I think they edit that part out where Loki use it on kenchi in this Anime..

This type of striking was NOT invented by Bruce lee. It has been around for 1000's of years in Kung fu. It is the core of their training and possibly could have originated before then.

The fingers in correctly targeted areas can cause great damage as can wrist strikes, open handed strikes, knife hand strikes, fist strikes etc. There are many ways to damage and strike and opponent.

As for your question of "special" moves well the answer is no because none of the moves you have mentioned are special only to those styles. the flying knee strike while used in Muay Thai with great effect it is also used in many other traditional styles and considering Muay Thai evolved from Muay Boran this would mean it is not a Muay Thai special move.

The same applies for the tornado kick, it is not a TKD kick. This kick has been around for hundreds or even thousands of years. It is found in numerous styles including kung fu and various other styles.

All martial arts are the combination of years of cross training and learning from other styles. just because something is used in one style does not mean it is not used or taught in another style.

the move you're talking about was created by Bruce Lee. I don't know about the wrist part but I know that he could do the 1 inch punch (distance from holding out fingers to striking with fist) so hard that he broke a guys shoulder. #screwthat

I remember seeing it on an Anime I watched a while back, and just remembered it.

It involves striking, normally to the torso, with the fingers first. You then fold the fingers back to strike with the fist. Then, you twist the hand further around to strike with the wrist.

I know the three stages occur very quickly.

Also, are there any "special" moves in Karate? I know there's things like the Kao Loi in Muay Thai and the Tornado kick in Taekwondo, but does Karate have any cool unique moves? I'm talking Shotokun specifically, but I don't mind the style.
