I used to know a guy who did karate and he said that Muay Thai produces some of the best fighters in the world but isn't based in a good tradition. I told him that tradition could go to Hell and back because Muay Thai is friggin awesome. I would do Muay Thai if they had a school here. I'm stuck with Hapkido because I live in Mountain Home and that is what we got here. I would do Muay Thai or something else if I had the chance.

yes! its a simple yet useful martial art. easy to learn but does take dedication. toughens you up and helps disiplin. i fight in muay thai and its awesome. if anyone tried to pick on you and you were good at muay thai then you could do some good damage. ive had to use it as self defence multiple times and i have never been picked on since... i say go for it!

Muay Thai is exceptional for close quarters combat where movement is limited. The techniques utilized in this system can be particularly devastating to an opponent. The training in a proper environment is grueling and exhausting, and requires total dedication and commitment. It is not something you go into half-heartedly.

Absolutely! I have a friend that's studied Muay Thai for most of his life and he loves it. It keeps him in great shape and does a lot to boost his confidence. A few people have messed with him, especially for his poor English skills, but nobody has ever beat him in a fight.

Not for me. I chose Judo, to participate in as a sport. For self-defense, avoid confrontation, run, learn basic boxing and wrestling...

yes, all martial art is good

go for it. it is a cool style. knees! kickboxing is cool too.
