Ideal bodyweight for a fighter?

For BJJ your high should be 229lbs with 20 minutes 30s /4.2miles with 20 min and low on creatine.

For Judo Black belt 5'9'' 215lbs to 280lbs 5'9 with sprints on tread mill only once a month and 120minutes jog run on friday and saturday if you have no work those days.

Whatever works for you. Some people are naturally bigger or smaller. You have guys in the heavyweight divisions that are under 6 feet and weigh well over 200 lbs. And it works for them.

Whatever you are.

Longer reach is better, as is stronger.

But we are all born with what we are born with you can't train yourself to be taller and there is an upper limit to how much muscle you can pack on w/o enhancements.

So just focus on training and build your stregth and endurance as much as you can.

Unless you are going "pro" and fighting in weight classes there is no "ideal".

More range and more stregth (which training technique will teach you to use to an even greater advantage) is always better.

What is the ideal body weight range for a male fighter of 5'9"? Is it around 170-180 of lean mass and being able to run a mile in a good time like say 5 minutes 45 seconds or keep up 3 miles at a 7 minute mile pace without being winded?

I want to have a good physique without sacrificing functional strength and the ability to fight well. I will be starting muay thai and have already started BJJ.
