I want to learn Wing Chun.?

There is no such thing as a perfect size for a style of martial art. With a population of about 31,000, I'm not surprised that there are not WC schools in your city. If you do an internet search, there seems to be a group or federation for WC that meets in W. Virginia which may help you locate a teacher near you. Keep in mind, that this is no endorsement of this group because I have no firsthand knowledge of their legitimacy.

No martial art is "perfect for [your] size". Most of the Wing Chun guys I know are of average height; one is closer to 6'5". The notion that a martial art is "perfect" for a specific size or build is a myth.

I have no idea where Parkersburg is in relation to any Wing Chun schools, but a quick Google search led me to this site:

http://dojos.info/WestVirginia/

That may be your best bet.

I was also unable to locate a Wing Chun school in Parkersburg. However, this site has multiple listings of martial training centers in and around Parkersburg:

You should review the facilities in your area and try to find one that will meet your ultimate goals beyond the "style" that most interests you. Often we find what we need when we stop looking for what we want.

Good luck, and good training to you.

try some thing else.. if your into Chinese martial arts find one in your area.. I had a friend that wanted to take it we couldn't find one but 3 states away..

Someone has been watching too much IP Man movies.

I am 5'8" and 160 lbs and Wing Chun seems like the perfect martial art for my size. I don't have any martial arts experience. I live in Parkersburg, West Virginia an I can't find any martial arts places that teach it. I want to learn face-to-face, not off of a video. Can someone please help? Maybe give me a place near me that does? Anything would help.
