How to deal with extreme fear in a fight?

Understanding whether or not I have a choice to fight or not. If I have a choice I will let them say what they will and walk away. If not given a choice then the fear is only relevant to my ability to survive in that it is a hindrance to that goal. When choice is taken away, and necessity becomes the foremost consideration, the pragmatic application of martial training is the key. Logic in the face of emotional outburst will be my cornerstone, upon which all tactical decision will be based. Their emotional outbursts are designed to intimidate, and often they are a mask for self perceived weakness. An emotional overcompensation for what they believe the lack as a person.

Remember, courage is not the absence of fear. It is the ability to overcome that fear. Reasoning, logic, pragmatism, and the confidence in one's self to be able to fight win or lose to demonstrate the futility of viewing you as a victim. These are key.

its because you have learnt a system and when the system fails you are left blank therefore scared.

learn to just attack with no thought. make your fighting as simple as possible. eye jab, groin kick, run away.

They have a face like Vinnie Jones, rage in their eyes, they are big, ultra masculin, they are making loud noises, and death inuendos, they are aggressive without fear, making explosive and fast motions, etc etc etc

So your worst nightmare of a scarry person, that literally gives you terror to look at them in the face or to be near them as they intimidate you.

You have that nightmare of a person that you have to fight.

How do you overcome /handle that fear?
