How to convince my parents to take karate classes?

Be glad you can't train at the places that say you're "too old" that shows they're nothing but a glorified day care center.

Why not see if your dad will join a class with you? It could be something you do together. My kids and I started together and its a common bond that we now have.

Short of that, you'll have to convince your folks on the benefits of martial arts. For some that's easier than others. So do some research, then see if they'll go with you to talk to the sensei (teacher). Hopefully they'll see that martial arts aren't just about fighting and self defense but rather a whole lifestyle that should positively impact our lives.

Too old?

My oldest student started at the age of 65,

One of my instructors was still training and teaching until the age of 95 when he past away. Another one of my instructors still does ful contact fighting at almost 60 years old.

You are never too old.

Those dojos that told you that you are, are just full of it. More likely there a mcdojo for children

Perhaps if you foyer to do chores in exchange for a ride he will take you.

It's difficult to say since we don't know your parents or the reason why he won't take you.

I'm 14 years old and recently got interested in karate. I visited few places in my area but neither of them couldn't let me practice because I am "too old" for karate. But then I found one place where I could practice and they told me to visit them and see how it looks. Now the problem is they are 10 miles from my house and my dad wouldn't drive me but also he doesn't let me to go alone. We argued many times about this but they are stubborn. Please help me to convince them to let my take karate classes! Thanks in advance! :)
