i want to be a professional martial artist what i have to do to be a professional martial artist and how does a professional martial artist work

You train for a long time, 15 years average, then you open a school and if you decide to teach your martial art as it was intended and not as a Mcdojo you will have also finished your education and gotten a career that will support you. Only Mcdojo make lots of money to where you could also support yourself. Otherwise it's most likely from paycheck to paycheck.

As a fighter it's almost the same as most of what you get paid for fighting goes right back into training and traveling expenses. There are not many fighters who can live on what they earn. It's usually to support their training.

This varies on your idea/context of what you consider a "professional martial artist".

There are thousands of professional martial artists in the world. People who have been doing martial arts for years, some who are so good it's second nature and their art is literally ingrained into their psyche. They are my term considered professional, but...

They are not well known. They aren't on TV and their name is not displayed in lights.

Then there are the people on TV etc. UFC fighters, and other professional fighters who make a living fighting for sport. They to are considered professional martial artists.

So what do you consider professional?

Pro - Do martial arts for 15 to 30 years. Varies on length of training and more importantly quality of.

Pro - Become a professional fighter. Find a respectable pro gym, sign up, sign waiver, wrk your a s s off, train to be the best, start fighting, hit big. Your chances of this are slim at best. Thousands of people have tried, thousands did not have what it takes to go big.

It really depends on what style of martial arts do you want to perform? There are lots of martial arts style that you can choose either karate, tae kwon do, kickboxing and etc. It's up to you.

I wonder how many IQ points it takes to figure out that you need to start training?

UNless its Olympic, boxing maybe MMA or a mc.dojo.keep.dreaming and get a day job.
