How much do Taekwondo referees get paid?

how much do they get paid per contest? is there a difference between the main official and the corner judges?

In our town's Little League, adult umpires get paid $80 per game. In our town's soccer league, referees get paid $50 per day, and might officiate 3 games. These are popular sports.

In Taekwondo, non-sanctioned events are strictly volunteer, they don't make much to pay people. Free lunches and drinks is about all the perks one can expect.

Sanctioned events are different. The more important the event (local -> regional -> state -> national -> continental -> international -> olympics) the pay scale rises, and almost always relies on negotiations between event hosts, sponsors, judges, and referees. I've seen local sanctioned events pay refs and judges $20/event, and I've heard of it going up to $50/event. As to higher events, I cannot say - it is likely negotiable there, too.
