How is a krav maga beginner class?

It depends on the school. I've heard of many that you barely do anything and you can go the whole class without breaking a sweat. Stay away from those. The class I went to for a while was the hardest workout that I've ever done and I still have muscles from doing it two years ago for only a short while (I injured myself and wasn't able to return.) So if you find a good school it'll be a freakin' tough workout, but if you don't find a good one than it will be worthless. With Krav Maga you need to find a school that works you to your limit, and if it isn't doing that, don't really bother with it.

Like Michael said, it depends on the school and instructor. The good ones will put you through a rigorous workout with striking and combatives before stepping into the defense training section of the class. Try one of these links to see if the school is associated with KM Alliance, or KM Worldwide, both of which can be directly traced back to the creator of KM, Imi Sde-Or (Lichtenfeld).

well, i was an overweight person before and was extremely nervous about any physical education class

i am quite in good shape now... i did 4 round of insanity, 1 round of p90x, Jillian Michael body revolution, p90x3, les mills pump, Focus t 25, and now i just started combat...

Even though i am quite fit now, i still cant do pull up, i use resistance bands, and i am afraid of doing a front roll over and back roll over....

How is a krav beginer class and what should i expect????? i just started combat just to know how to punch, kick and jab etc....

Is it more intense than the beachbody workout???

thanks
