One time during sparring i somehow roundhoused a guy in the groin and he wasn't wearing a cup. He fell to the ground screaming and had a certain level of animosity towards me for years, just wear a cup
cup has never broken, but it still hurts to get kicked in the groin with a cup on.
They are actually pretty good.
I've never seen those. But as a rule of thumb don't buy built in stuff. Like I've seen gloves with the handwraps already in them. They suck. Just buy a regular cup like everyone else. If a million people before you bought it there is a reason. You go ahead and be the million and first.
I've been thinking about joining martial arts and i was just looking at the gear. I see these compression shorts on amazon that are bundled with plastic protection cups. My question is how durable are these cups?
Like would i be able to take some accidental or even full force shots to the groin and still be okay or would it break/shatter upon a first few hits?
