How does the JKD eye jab work?

Yes, you are really over thinking it! You use it like a jab. It really does not matter so much which fingers hit if that is what you do (eye jab). It is meant to disable the other person that's all. If you thinks as you are hitting or about to hit you are creating a huge problem for yourself. If one or more finger jabs the eye that's what matters isn't it? Bruce Lee really liked the eye jab because it gives a few extra inches and can cause severe damage with minimal effort. It met his criteria, maximum damage (possibly) minimal effort with fight ending results possibly and keeps you at a safe distance with less chance of getting hit. It's not something you do to a guy just bothering you, you need to be in real danger.

Extend your finger and thrust it into someones eye. Try not to think to deeply into it :]

because 95 percent of original move have a counter move

yes u heard that right ,this eye poke is very easy to counter if u look into

aikido which i dont have the patience or time to get into

Its four things collapsing , perry , reaction versus reaction , and tumbling block.

pero la mia mossa del dito in fronte è migliore

Boy you have really over thought this. Unless you don't have a clear path to the eyes or are to far away it is not hard to do. That said i would only use an eye jab if I was in serious danger. It is too easy to do permanent damage. It simply would be overkill to use it if it was not necessary. also anything you do can and is likely to be judged by the law or others in authority. If they see someone claiming self-defense but doing more damage than is necessary to remove the threat, you are the one that will be in trouble. and think about this there are many cases of someone that was justified in defending themselves only to get sued by the attacker or their family for the injury you caused defending yourself.

Just saying...

if all the fingers are aimed at the eyes the longest one will hit the forehead/nose and you will miss the eyes?

why not use two fingers and aim with one, automatically aligning the other or at least guaranteeing a hit with one?
