How do you snap someone out of a knockout?

My friend was in a fight and he was knocked out so I want to know how to snap him or anyone else who gets knocked out

You don't.

For fainting, you can use smelling salts. But in sports, a KO is the result of an injury, not fainting. When you use smelling salts on someone who has been injured into a KO, you risk the victim moving by reflex that can make the injury worse. That movement is usually the head, spine, or lungs (like a cough), and that movement moves the very thing that makes the KO a KO.

As a sports coach in soccer and baseball, we must go through concussion training. One of the things we are constantly taught is to never try to revive an unconscious person with salts (or anything). Let the professionals handle that. We are thus liable for any injury sustained by the KO'ed person as a result of, or a possible result of, the attempt to revive. It would be different if we were "Good Samaritans", but as coaches we are not shielded under this concept. So... do not revive.

Use smelling salts, also known as spirit of hartshorn or sal volatile.

a knock out is a side effect of a concussion, the longer he is unconscious the more sever it is. you should take him to a doctor
