How do you pronounce 'tang soo do'?

Is the do part of it pronounced as dough or do (do as do you want this)?

It is pronounced like Tong-Sue-doh. Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art. However, both Japanese and Korean arts pronounce the "do" the same. Like Judo, which is "Ju" and "do". Many people pronounce Tang worng because they try to pronounce it as if it was an English word instead of the Romanized (English) spelling of a Korean word. That is why Tong is the correct pronunciation of the Korean word Tang.

...

We would pronounce it "T/DONG sh' doh", where the emphasis is on the first syllable, and the entire word is pronounced in a flowing (non-stop) word, not "tang. soo. doh.", it's more like "tangsoodoh". The "s" in the middle is like a long "s", and aspirated.

A dictionary's pronunciation should spell it "t[a']?s?udo".

In Korean, they have one sound that represents what we write as "D" and "T". They pronounce that letter as a harder "D", but a softer "T". Writing it as "tang" or "dang" would be equally acceptable.

You can tell an American pronouncing "tang" as they pronounce it like the powdered soft drink "Tang", or the part of a sword. This is NOT correct.

And yes, "do" is pronounced "dough", not "due".

As in dough with a hint of an a before the o.
