Help please.?

No, they are not the same thing.

Better for what? You can take a martial art for many different reasons and they are all OK. After all, you are doing the martial art for yourself. So there is no better martial art. It is a tool. Practitioners determine who is better when they use their tool, not what style/tool is better.

Pros, all martial arts styles are good if you have a good teacher, so find the best teacher you can. It will make a difference with what you will learn.

Cons finding a good teacher especially in these two styles is going to be difficult. There are many misconceptions about both styles. Taiji is more often that not taught for relaxation and health without any martial value. As I said it is the practitioner who determines how good the martial art.

They're two different soft martial arts that start off slow and move onto quite fast movements. Both develop the body quite a bit. You shouldn't be learning them to fight multiple enemies at once. For one you wont find proper training unless you're in the exact right place(especially so for Taiji.)

If you're training these martially you will not have a relaxing time. Slow does not mean easy.. Don't believe me? Alright I want you to do 100 push ups one night.. and then the next night do 1 push up over a period of 5 minutes.(no resting on the ground, muscles always engaged.) The latter is what you should come to expect out of serious training.

If you're expecting to defend yourself with these you'll find they're very energy efficient.. after years of training that is..

If you want something so you can learn to defend yourself faster you should go for a hard art.

Pick up a hobby for relaxation I suppose.

Pa kua chang (also Baguazhang) is a specific style of Chinese internal martial art. Taichichuan is an umbrella name for 5 major styles of Chinese internal martial art with a shared history originating from Chen style.

No martial art starts off a beginner by teaching them to face off against multiple attackers. You start with one opponent and IF you are good enough you might be able to understand how to handle more. You learn to walk before you learn to run.

If you want to relax, exercise and get physically fit.

If you want to understand the pros and cons of a styles of martial art, then you study them and decide for yourself.

Pa Cheun martial arts is good and tai chine chuan is to control emotions and a lot of people practice tai chi if you get an assisted felon cause the other person lied about the martial practice when you exchanged lesson in hand in a certified martial instructor is listening or watching.

Is Pa kua Chang and Tai Chi chuan the same thing? Which one is better to take? Which one would relax me and could take on multiple enemys at a time? Can you also give me some pros & cons please.
