I think it could be the first of many. It was only a matter of time that fighters saw an alternative to UFC, they haven't had that since Zuffa purchased Strikeforce. The fact that Bellator could put on fights like Melendez v Alvarez is a huge move forward for them.

ya kno... its sad to see gil leave. he beet the champ bensen in a lotta peoples opinions.. hes has some amazing boxing as well.. he should be fighting for a belt AGAIN.. hes one the top fighters in 55 and the ufc would be stupid not to sign him.. dana white prolly doessent wanna pay him what he deserves and he deserves to be paid like a champ since he really did beet one and hassent lost since.. he also put on a fight of the year canidant vrs sanchez... dana white screwed up and honestly I would like to see some more fighters LEAVE that way dana white will watch how he treats his fighters who are sacrificing there bodies for danas company ( while dana sits on his fat *** and just watches...).. ufcs los and honestly the fans are loseing out too cause of dana white.. **** dana white..

i think it would be funny. the ufc would of screwed up. ufc may of lost on of their fighters & a top ranked fighter. do you think any other fighter will be next? i wonder if the reem will leave. dana white is pissed at him. i would like to see the reem in bellaotr/glory if he leaves too. what do you guys think?
