GSP vs Hendricks was unfair?

I doubt peeing in a cup would have taken much out of either of them.

And if i recall correctly GSP was the one who wanted to take the tests..

In regards to the Fight I think hendricks did more damage but GSP outscored him and thats what matters in the judges eyes all these people saying hendricks was robbed need to understand what the judges look for, Not who looks worse after the fight.

This is really late dude. That fight happened a long time ago.

This is what happened: They both fought an amazing fight, and regardless of points, the judges picked GSP.

Its over. Points, blood tests, stats. Nothing matters except the fact you need to accept the fact: GSP won by the judges decision, unfair or fair (personally, I say it was unfair, but still, you need to do what I did): Move on with your life.

Ummm... drug tests are peeing in a cup and taking a couple milliliters of blood.

Keep in mind Hendricks also did 3 blood tests.

NSAC has random screening, has a pre fight medical blood screen, a medical drug screen the day of weigh ins, and medical and blood screening the night of the fight during post fight check out.

Sure you could try to throw more tests in there during your fight camp (as GSP wanted). But it isn't any detriment to your training.

Your hardcore fight fan friend is ill informed is my opinion.

I think GSP had a very slim win. But he still won. I wasn't impressed with Hendricks during his post fight interviews. Take Gustafsson who actually beat Jones IMHO, and he even said himself, if it is that close, give it to the champ. My respect for Gustafsson is so much higher than my respect for Hendricks. But to answer the actual question, I think GSP would have done better with just 1 drug test.

naw dude gsp didnt have to take those tests. and lol gsp won round 3 if you gave hendricks a split id think your just as dumb as the judges who scored it figga deal me?

Hendricks is a jerk but I think he won the fight. I doubt that the drug tests had much to do with the outcome.

I am still trying to work out how you think a drug test takes its toll on the body?

Gsp will tough it out it might end a draw .

gsp was on boost testorone during the bj penn era

now hes off it , good for him

Dont you think the fight was unfair considering GSP took 3 drugs tests while Hendrick only took 1?

I am not saying either of them use PEDs but wouldnt all of that testing take toll on the training?

I think if GSP took only one test he would not have been fighting as sloppy.

This is because the intense training plus the weight cutting is already really hard but to add 2 drug tests on top of that would make it much harder.

I also think if Hendricks took 3 tests he wouldnt have been able to make weight without being much more energy drained and he would have performed very poorly.

What are your thoughts on this analysis.

I am not making excuses for GSP, in fact I dont even like the welterweight division at all and these are not my opinions.

A friend of mine who is a hardcore fight fan was telling me this so I just wanted to know what other fight fans think.

In terms of who won. I wouldve given Hendricks the split decision but a draw might have also been a good call.
