Fighting professionally?

It's pretty much like Pugpaws said. There are people in the UFC with drug records, so I doubt it will stop you from getting hired if you are good. It will make you lose the job or pay a big fee if you keep doing it while a professional athlete. Anyway, the past in sports isn't as big of a deal. If you keep doing drugs though, you'll probably be pretty screwed up later in life.

If telling you what the real deal is rather than blowing smoke up you *** makes a person a D***, then so be it. The truth is that you are as likely to become a professional Baseball player, Golfer, Football player, ...etc. as you are to become a successful UFC professional. I doubt that you past drug record will keep you from becoming the best you can be. But of you do keep using drugs in the future, all bets are off.

...

You have a very limited chance to becoming a pro fighter. You have just as much of a chance at winning the lottery. Pro fighter have to take drug test. if you get caught you will pay a fine, get banned. If you continue to get caught you can be banned for life. Sure there are pro fighters that use. Some stop using long enough before a fight so they won't get caught. Some use masking agents not to get caught. Some eventually get caught no matter which method they use to prevent getting caught.

There are many people in this world. Many have dreams of being a pro athlete. But the reality most will not have this dream come true. Only a extremely select few will ever realize the dream. There are some that dream that are better than some pros. But they never get the same opportunity for a variety of reasons.

I have coached a variety of sports. Many of the guys and some of the girls have gone on to compete in college. But I have only had one player to go pro. He was one of the better players on my teams. But rarely was he ever the best player on my teams. But none of the other players have gone pro. I can't even think of any time when he led any of my teams in scoring. He has led us in rebounding. Now as a pro he is not expected to rebound. They want him to score more than what he had done for me. On his high school and college team he was a leader in scoring. As he matured and grew his role changed. His ability to score changed. When he was in the 4th grade he began to play for me. I told him and all the other players I won't tell you that you will become a pro. But I won't tell you that you can't be a pro. I did tell them the odds are against any of you becoming a pro. But it can happen, but you must 1st take care of what you can and get the grades. If you don't have the grades you can't play in high school or college. I told them to use basketball. I don't know where it will take you. But if it can pay for even a portion of your college education that they should take advantage of that and use it. He was one of many that got a athletic scholarship. He was the only one that played one year and entered into the draft and became a lottery pick. I'm proud of him and his success. I'm even more proud that he told me that he will continue with school even though he is a pro and living is dream and he will get his degree. I expect him to keep his word. He said they already have a plan in place for I'm to finish his degree. He said I should see it. They have it all written down. I'm guessing that is with his mom, college coach, and agent.

GO train. Work on getting better. Learn how to take care of your body. This means eating right, exercising right and not putting harmful things in your body. I know people try to make smoking or weed as not being that bad. But inhaling any type of smoke is harmful to your lungs and body.

Assuming you have stopped using weed, it should go out of your blood stream after some time. Be a member of gyms or dojo competing with inter-gym mma competitions. Start from there, and if you are winning, chances are you are on your way to becoming a pro.

I have a dream of someday being able to fight into the ufc but have a record of a misd for poss marijuana, if you read this and just wanna be a dick and say I have no chance than do me a favor and don't bother commenting cause fighting is my passion and this is a legit and serious question, please and thank you.
