Fedor Emelianenko wants MMA in Olympics. is this possible?

One day, can we see MMA in Olympics?

it doesnt meet any of the qualifications, including

1, it needs to have a single International Federation that governs the sport, sets and enforces rules, organizes tournaments, etc.

2, it needs to be practiced in at least 50 countries (female sports) or 75 countries (male sports)

3, it needs to hold World Championships.

4, it needs to be recognized by the IOC, and finally,

5, it needs to be voted in to the games by a 2/3 majority of IOC members at the first IOC meeting.

besides do you really want to have it in the olymics with all the restrictions there going to make on it.

Very unlikely. Summer Olympics last a little over 2 weeks. Not enough recovery time after each fight since 204 nations participate in the Olympics and let's say 50 have a representative for a weight division. And the world doesn't really want to see peoples' bleeding faces or broken shin bones on tv.

It's unlikely, but I'm still curious if we may see it under the label of Pankration. Heck, I'd even watch Combat Sambo at the Olympic level.

I hope it never happens.

Judo and taekwondo were already ruined by the Olympics, and boxing is on that process as well.

That would suck because it would undermine Tae Kwon Do and Judo in the Olympics.

yes when the russian bear speaks the ground shakes

beware the ides of march!
