Extension of Krav Maga?

Basically you fight how you train and as important correct technique is you still need sparring. I've been to 4 Krav Maga gyms in the past and I can't speak for all gyms all over the world but I was not impressed. Civilian Krav Maga is not the same as military Krav Maga. Simple as that....If you do not spar you are missing a massive bit in your martial arts training. Personally I would try looking for something else.

Apparently the words krav maga translate loosely to contact combat so idk what you got going on if u want sparring with those techniques you will have to look around im sure a judo school would be interested but base sparring yes mma or kickboxing will fix your problem :)

Why not? Krav isn't really intended to be contact anyhow.

I do Krav Maga and it's great but there isn't enough in it for contact I mean it's really really good it there is not enough sparring or fighting it's most of the time techniques which are really good just not a lot of real fighting so I'd like to learn a contact martial sport as an extension of Krav like boxing, mma, kickboxing etc....

Is it a good idea?
