Aikido is based upon Daito Ryu Aikijujitsu so that the newer has the body movement of the elder.

Perhaps it is not wise to listen to any who pose as knowledgeable experts yet whose response clearly demonstrate the knowledge they claim to have.....
Depends how far removed from Aikijutsu generation wise the Aikido school is. Aikido has been around enough years to have developed some really funky stuff that looks nothing like the Aikijutsu from which it originated. Some Aikido stuff is so bad it does not even work to fight your way out of a wet paper bag. Some Aikido styles are very close to Aikijutsu not just with their 'tai sabaki' and can even be used to maim if necessary and it's not all fluffy clouds and fuzzy bunnies by any means.
I would like to know if Daito ryu has same aikido body movement and footwork as Aikido comes from Daito ryu .
